Student Organization Resources

The most important resource for student organizations is the Guidebook, which is also published in hard copy and available in the Engineering Office of Student Affairs. It is the critical resource for student organization information at the University.

Room Reservations
For all room reservations, please be sure to know the date, time, preferred location, audience size and food vendor (as appropriate) for your event. With that information in hand, it should be easier to schedule your space. Please note that most classrooms (although not all) are free but fees may apply to particular spaces across campus. Be sure to inquire when making your reservation so that you can plan your budget as appropriate.

College of Engineering Classrooms
Paul Ivacko
manages all CoE classroom space. His office is located in 145 Chrysler Center. Consult the College's facilities web page for additional information about classroom space.

Computer Science and Engineering Atrium
Brian Rice manages the Atrium space. Contact him via email for use guidelines and reservations.

Duderstadt Center (including the Central Collaboration Area)
Reservations are made through an online reservation system.

Duderstadt Center Art Gallery
Reservations are made through email.

North Campus Diag
The North Campus Diag is managed by Merry Meyer in the Pierpont Commons. Contact her directly for more information about reserving the Diag. Allow for enough time to process the request and additional paperwork required for an outdoor event.

Pierpont Commons, Michigan Union, Michigan League, Palmer Commons
The University Unions maintain an online scheduling system. Account information and directions are on the first screen.

Stamps Auditorium (located in the Walgreen Center)
All Engineering requests for Stamps are coordinated through Paul Ivacko.

Arthur Miller Theatre (located in the Walgreen Center)
The use of the theater is coordinated through the School of Music, Theatre and Dance. Contact Bonnie Kerschbaum for additional information and rates.

Trotter Multicultural Center
Visit the Trotter Multicultural Center website for information about available space and policies.

Central Campus Classrooms & Auditoriums
The Student Organization and Account Services (SOAS) office schedules space for student organizations on Central Campus. An authorized signer must completed the request form.

Central Campus Diag
The Central Campus Diag is reserved through the Student Activities and Leadership Office in the Michigan Union through the Diag Reservation Form available in their office.

Funding Sources

There are many funding sources for student organizations across the College and University. Student organizations should consult the Guidebook or the CoE Office of Student Affairs for additional information.
